Is there a virtual option for PDC 2026?
PDC has traditionally been an in-person event. While the 2021 and 2022 events were virtual due to COVID-19, PDC 2026 does not offer any virtual sessions available.
Can I register online?
Yes, online registration opens on October 15, 2025.
What happens if I miss the Early Bird deadline?
If you miss the deadline, regular rates will apply. We strictly enforce this policy and encourage you to register early to take advantage of the discounted rates.
Can I pay for my registration by cheque?
No, all payments must be made via credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Your registration will be completed once the payment is processed successfully.
Can I attend lectures with an Exhibit Hall Only registration?
No, the ‘Exhibit Hall Only’ category grants access to the exhibit floor on March 5-6 and the Live Dentistry Stage within the Exhibit Hall. It does not include access to other sessions but comes with lunch and two reception beverages each day.
I am a student how do I register? Can I register on-site?
Students must be enrolled in a full-time dental program and provide their school name and student number during registration. A unique password, available from your instructor, is required to register. The discounted student rate is only available until March 1, 2026, and on-site registration will be charged the regular rate of $475 + GST.
I'm signed up for a Hands-On Workshop, do I need to bring anything?
Check the course details on the website for any specific items you need to bring. You will also receive an email with this information. Some workshops may have prerequisites, which will be noted during registration and on the program.
Do you have a one-day registration fee?
No, your registration covers all three days of the conference.
When should I expect my name badge to arrive in the mail?
In an effort to streamline your conference experience, PDC 2026 will no longer be mailing out name badges in advance. Instead, all attendees will need to print and pick up their badges onsite. To avoid any delays on the first day of the conference, we highly recommend picking up your badge on Wednesday, March 5th. Registration kiosks and badge printers will be conveniently located in both the East and West lobbies of the Vancouver Convention Centre, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
One of the staff that we registered is no longer with us - can I replace them with a new staff person?
Yes, you can replace a staff member before their badge is printed by modifying your registration online.
How do I make changes or add courses to my registration?
After registering, you will receive a unique modification URL via email. Use this to update your registration or add courses.
What is the cancellation policy for the 2026 conference?
Cancellations are allowed online until February 2, subject to a $35 + GST cancellation fee. After February 2, cancellations are non-refundable.
How do CE credits work? How do I report them?
All attendees are required to scan into each session
It is the responsibility of each individual to submit their own report to their provincial authority. Attendees should consult with their regulatory authorities for CE requirements prior to attending the conference. Those attendees reporting outside of BC must be scanned in and out of every session to ensure accurate reporting for CE., Individual attendance reports which are generated from the scanning logs, will be emailed to each attendee after the conference.
Can I bring my child to the conference?
Children are not allowed in conference sessions. Children over 12 are allowed in the Exhibit Hall with a paid ‘Exhibit Hall Only’ badge. Infants in carriers are allowed, but strollers are prohibited. Please arrange childcare through your hotel concierge if needed.
Can I bring friends, who are not attending the conference, to the Wine Tasting social event?
Yes, you can purchase any number of tickets and your guests do not need to be registered for the conference. Guests must be of legal drinking age to attend.
When is the PDC App available for download?
There are various platforms for the PDC App – the Android version is typically available for download one month prior to the start of the conference.
