BCCOHP’s New Updated QA Program
The BCCOHP website includes updated information about continuing professional development and the modernized QA Program website https://oralhealthbc.ca/practice-resources/quality-assurance
The Pacific Dental Conference issues a personalized Certificate of Attendance to all attendees. Scan into your lectures and hands on courses at the PDC. Scans will ensure that your continuing professional development activities are recorded on the Certificate of Attendance which will be available after the conference and will be important when connecting your PDC learning to the goals established in your modernized QAP beginning in April 2026.
Although reporting of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is not required between January and April 2026, oral health professionals should keep records of any CPD completed between January 1 and March 31, 2026 as it may be connected to your learning goals.

Reporting Your CE in Alberta and Saskatchewan
Make sure you are scanned in and out of every session.
Registrants should consult with their regulatory authorities for CE credit requirements prior to attending the conference. It is the responsibility of each individual requiring a conference CE report to be scanned in and out of every session to ensure accurate reporting for CE credits. For those attendees who were scanned, individual CE attendance reports can be downloaded from the PDC website after the conference.
It is your responsibility to submit your CE to the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA). PDC does not submit CE credits on your behalf.
——————
College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA) dentists must scan in and out of every session to ensure accurate reporting for CE credits. CE credit is limited to one credit for each hour attending courses (e.g., 2.5-hour course = 2.5 CE credits). The CDSA reminds its regulated dentists to be aware of the maximum limits allowed for certain categories and learning modalities. Please refer to College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta Continuing Competence Program Manual for complete information. Submit your PDC CE credits directly to the CDSA using the CE Self-Reporting link on the members’ portal.
